Fami is a female bassist best known for her work with the all girl metal band Love Bites, and also her numerous, very popular cover videos of rock and metal tracks from famous Japanese artists.
Fami plays a lot of slap, double thumb and tap, so this bass is very easy to play with a low action, amazing fretwork and a super crisp balanced sound. Personally I love it, very impressed with the sound and playability, the pickups are superb, fretwork to die for, gorgeous purple heart fretboard, and the color scheme is very tasteful.
It is essentially the same as the standard HL5 but with some added zest. Well worth the price tag in my estimation.
