Kanade Gen Koubou (Harmony String Instrument Workshop) are a very small operation based in Earthquake ravaged Ishikawa prefecture, not far from the 2024 disaster site.
I had been scouting these for a while as they looked very promising, so I continue to create new stock orders with them for BJD.
The aesthetics of this bass are beautiful, with the figured top and fingerboard, countersunk wooden bridge mount. The fit and finish is great, materials are of high quality, and the bass offers great functionality and tonal scope.
