In good working order, this Tokai was made in Japan in about 1983 and is entirely original.
The alder body provides a good warm tone with focused mids, and is also quite light weight making the bass comfortable to use.
The neck is a slightly slimmer version of a traditional Fender p, with a 42mm nut width.
It is a very well made bass that competes with the likes of Fender Japan of the Fujigen Era.
It acheives a comfy 1.5mm setup and the frets have a good 75% remaining.
