From around 1988, this lightweight medium-scale pj is mostly original and in very good condition for its age with only minor signs of wear.

It came to me with some faulty pots so I renewed all of them but kept the original tone caps to keep the sound as close to original as possible. I also added a three way selector switch to make it far more practical and versatile to use.

It features two volumes and two tones, so you can set those as you like and simply throw the switch to solo front, go balanced, or solo rear.

The previous owner had attempted to scallop the upper frets, it wasn't too badly done despite being a bit messy,  so I evened it up more and added a dot inlay to keep the look balanced and tidy. The scalloping actually feels pretty good, but essentially serves little purpose unless you're going to really bend upper notes hard! Still it doesn't affect playability or sound.

The bass is overall a great player, zingy, lightweight, low action and feels comfy.
