In excellent shape for it's vintage, this bass was made by Tune Guitars Japan for the Levinson brand in the mid 90s. It is a very high quality build with top sgelf materials and superb craftsmanship.
The original preamp has been replaced with high quality passive circuitry replacing the bypass switch with a series parallel switch that works globally on both humbuckers when balanced or panned.
The frets are at about 90% have been polished and levelled, for extremely smooth play at a very low action, if desired.
The truss access cover has been replaced with a custom made, magnetic, rosewood one. It has been well done and is more convenient to use than the original. The rod itself is operating perfectly and has years of use left. Given the reliability of these builds, this neck will probably be fine for another 20 years, maybe more...
