A fantastic PJ from the mid eighties, in B rank condition for the year, had some light cracking in the top coat so it has been refreshed and recoated to protect it from some scuffs, pits and dings, There is some color tanning, but is otherwise in very good working order, and presentable condition.
Some screws have been replaced as have the tuning keys due to rustiness. The rear cavity cover was missing so has been replaced with a rosewood veneer one to match the fretboard.
Truss is healthy, operates in both directions.
This thing sets up nice and low, plays very smoothly and sounds killer. You get a beautiful glassy punch when balanced, creamy honk on the rear, and a nice even throatiness on the front.
