An unlicensed Kubicki copy that competes well with the official licenced Blaster bass.

This is as good in my opinion, better in some ways, and not as good in others, but on balance a very good alternative.

The preferable points are the bridge and tuner assembly is less prone to malfunction or breaking, and is easier to use.

The pickups are great, well shielded and very punchy and clear.

The weaker points are that although the bridge assembly is actually better, it just doesn't look as good as the licensed copy on the Blaster.

The truss access is at the body end not the headstock. Access is not as easy because of this.

The name "Fixer" is just weird, and the company or brand "Poor House" is also not a particularly cool name either...

It's a 34" not a 32" like the Blaster, but that's down to personal preference. For me I prefer the longer scale, actually.

The fit and finish are comparable, and I believe the materials are the same: Basswood body with a maple neck and ebonite fretboard.

The circuit was originally passive, vol, tone, pickup selector dial. There was something wrong with the selector dial, so i decided to install a "Penetrator" three band preamp (dead stock Japan made) which sounds absolutely killer! It might actually be my favorite preamp now!

Now you have Vol, bypass, balancer, mid, bass/treb for a control set.

The result is an amazing sounding bass that plays great and looks very cool.

It weighs in at about 3.8kg and ofcourse balances beautifully.

It comes with its original coarse nylon gig bag, which is half decent with a modicum of padding.
