These mid market builds are made with locally sourced Indonesian materials to keep costs affordable, but employ roasted maple necks for added stability.
The wood work is done in Indonesia by highly skilled craftsmen and the basses are finished assembled and set up in Japan at the Aska plant. This ensures excellent playability and thorough quality control.
The fretwork is excellent and playability is comparable to higher grade Japan made models.
Pickups and preamp are Bacchus OEM and sound great, comparable to the craft series.
The hardware is simple but functional with die cast nickel plated bridge, and cut and pressed nickel Music Man style tuning pegs.
