This one comprises a Fender Japan body with a non brand outlet neck, high end hardware, brand new pickups from Gotoh and Sims, and a repurposed veneered pickguard.
It sets up super low and plays like a breeze. The circuit is passive but allows for a wide variety of useful settings thanks to the tri-logic switch coupled to the Sims Supr Quad rear pickup, and a series parallel switch coupled to the Gotoh split coil Precision pickup.
The finish on this is buffed out to a satin sheen in this wonderful sapphire metallic blue, and is very comfortable to the touch. I didn't go to the same lengths as the April Rain PJ as this body only had very small ablutions, so some of the original pits show through the new paint work. It looks very tidy overall though but is not perfect hence the price is lower
