In B rank condition for the year, this JV Tokai shows some pits, dings and scratches but is working well.
The original black pickguard was replaced with a Fender Japan one, and V shaped truss access has been opened up for easier adjustment.
Note: it is possible to obtain a different color pickguard if desired, but it will add $40 to the cost.
The frets are at about 75% left and are in good playing shape. The trussrod is working ok and it sets up at a standard 2mmaction with no problem. It is probably possible to get down to 1.5mm if needed.
It sounds great, the pickups are original, nice and throaty with a good growl to it when tone is full, and lovely, round and boomimg when rolled off.
