I picked up this medium scale as junk, covered in matte white paint, neck included, with no pups or controls and no truss cover or cavity plate.
I decided to create some powerful wood cased humbuckers for it, and wire them with three way coil taps, so you can get ultra versatile sounds out of it, sand it even as possible, remove paint from neck, and refinish it in inked metallic pink with a metallic red "blush".
I created a magnetic wood cavity cover and wood truss cover to match the rosewood fretboard.
I even installed bushings instead of a neck plate, complete with bolts and bushings installed in tge neck for extra stability and sustain.
It now looks pretty hot, plays like a breeze, and sounds amazing!
