The all new cost performance short scale from Atelier Z comes in various colours and sports a simple two saddle vintage type bridge.
The body is Alder the fretboard dark Indian rosewood and the neck maple. The manufacture of the body and neck are outsourced but assembly fret finishing and setup are all done in Japan to ensure excellent intonation and playability.
The pickups are Atelier Z in-house jazz set that have fantastic response and tone making this highly affordable passive short scale compete with the likes of Fender Junior collection and even the all Japan made Baby Z or ZPO4 from the 2010s but costs about 60000jpy less, thus making it highly affordable at under 900usd (at today's rates).
The preamp on this model is the Bartolini XTCT with spectrum boost and also a master tone that operates in both active and passive mode. It really punches well above it's size and weight!
