J-Note 5 by Atelier Z white burst.

Here we have two incredible J-note 5 strings from Atelier Z, these things sound and play like a Ken-Smith but cost about 40% less. These are incredible builds with ultra smooth play, very stable 5 piece necks and simple elegant modern design. 

The Bartolini humbuckers give you a good rich, thick, full-bodied sound with a nice tangible opaqueness (unlike the transparency of many modern Jazz pickups). 

The rear pickup is full, creamy and with lots of quack...especially with the mid switch engaged, very much like a Ken Smith rear humbucker sound, but you get a good solid punch balanced and a nice thick throaty growl on the front. 

The three band EQ gives you very versatile tonal control suitable for all contemporary music and this bass is the ideal companion for stage and studio.

The fretboard radius is nice and flat at 19" allowing for very smooth play with a super low action ideal for technical playing.
