In excellent condition for its 10 or so years, it bears only small surface scratches on the back as photographed, the top is very clean with almost no signs of wear, the neck also has very little signs of wear and the frets are at a good 85% left.

This is a very rare and unique Bossa in that it is a full custom order with non standard spec and it is also one of the latest ones in that it was made in the early 2010s shortly before Bossa folded and shut down in 2014.

This build features unusual woods that production models didn't tend to use. The standard body material was usually ash with maple or ebony fretboard, however here we have African Mahogany tonewood, topped with Olive wood and an unusual one piece 5A flame maple neck with a cocobolo fretboard. It also has hipshot hardware, which is not standard fare.

The pickups are soapbars, not the standard  humbuckers, and the circuit features a mode switch which gives you interesting and practical settings similar to the "slap" switch but with slightly different applications.

The preamp is the standard GZP2 (from Tune) and is certainly the last known issue making this a 2010s build.

It appears to have far more truly hand crafted parts compared to production models (that were made by Tune), which suggests this was made by hand at the comparatively small Bossa workshop, instead of produced in short runs by Tune guitars.

This makes it a very special instrument, it plays even better than the Tune built Bossa, and feels and sounds like a true boutique build!
