My latest high grade spec DMS Funky Junk recycle bass!
This one is my 78th recycle bass and features high grade pickups from Seymour Duncan and Nordstrand, top notch hardware, a very versatile passive circuit that allows for killer glassy slap tones as well as authentic precision growl, and rear pickup honk that rivals highend boutique builds that cost 5 times the price!
It sounds incredible and plays very nicely. The pickups are veneered in flame maple and finished in a matte coating. The pickguard is in epoxy coated Koa while the control plate is in flame maple for contrast and to match the headstock.
While as usual, nothing is done to perfection on a Funky Junk, it works well and looks pretty darn cool even if i do say so myself! This one is in a special crackle glaze finish which has been buffed to a satin touch.
