My second Ibanez Soundgear hybrid custom using this wonderful high end Japanese made neck (factory outlet blank) on an Ibanez Soundgear Body with a high-end Schaller bridge and high-end Gotoh gb707 tuners, armed with a versatile 3band active circuit with dual Humbuckers encased in exotic wood.
This is a Funky Junk, so as usual, it is not perfect...in this case the body was a bit dinged up and I just left the dings where they lay, but routed neck pocket and pickups, then keyed, primed, and painted in this gorgeous metallic purple. I have been personally using this bass on some new recordings and am pleased with the sound it cuts.
I designed the circuit to be easily operable for the wide range of sounds I need, at the flick of a switch. In my case I need to flick between balanced, and rear a lot, so this bass made that really easy with the slap mode switch (which operates just the same as a Bossa). I am in no hurry to sell this as I'll gig it given the sound it cuts and the great playability, but will pass it on to whomever wants to give it a home at the asking price!
