Made, (I believe) by Kasuga, for the Guyatone label in the early to mid 70s, this shortscale bass is a very rugged and reliable little brute with a Kasuga made neck that is still perfectly fine with lots of room on the truss rod and about 80% frets left, even after decades of use.

The body is solid Asian Mahogany pancake construction, with a camphor or maple top-and- back veneer. The fit is snug suggesting this was all made at the same factory.

It sets up very low and plays very smoothly. The pickups are Maxxon alnico magnet types,  in standard size.

The bridge is a vintage style L plate in nickel, with standard 19mm spacing

The neck is 30 inch scale rosewood on maple construction, with a 38mm bone nut.

The bass weighs around 3.6kg and is almost 100% original except for the knobs which are brand new.

It comes with a basic gig bag.
