Sago's Stem series offer unparalleled build quality with high grade hardware and components, crafted, finished and assembled in Japan by well-known guitar & bass maker, Sago.
The carefully selected wood is outsourced and equipped with L(x) Alnico5 pickups. The hardware also uses high grade, reliable GOTOH products. In addition, the slim body shape makes it lighter than a typical Jazz Bass. It is easy to handle, reducing stress during performances. Controls include a passive Master Volume, Balancer, Master Tone, and a Hum Switch that allows series & parallel switching of two pickups.
The unique wrap design is done in special metallic paints.
In addition, one of the great attractions of Stem products is that the Luminlay phosphorescent material used for the side position markers. They absorb light and the side position markers glows gently in the dark.
