My first build using my original headstock shape on this wonderful high end Japanese made neck (factory outlet blank) on a mahogany Ibanez Soundgear Body with countersunk hipshot bridge and high end Gotoh resolite tuners, a versatile passive circuit with dual STR DSC5-18 Humbuckers encased in exotic wood.
This is a Funky Junk, so as usual, it is not perfect...however, I have been personally using this bass in my band Trivergents (originally it had a 20 fret neck but that did not work so well with the body shape, so I upgraded to a 24 fret neck and used the previous neck on Funky Junk #59.
I designed the circuit to be easily operable for the wide range of sounds I need, at the flick of a switch. In my band I need to flick between front, and rear a lot, and sometimes used a balanced setting, so this bass made that really easy. I am in no hurry to sell it, but will pass it on to whomever wants to give it a home at the asking price!
